NHREC has a Multi-Hazard Crisis and Emergency Management Plan in place that guides staff in responding to emergencies. The plan serves as an operating guide for a wide range of emergencies and reflects each school's unique characteristics. The plan exists to ensure timely interventions to save lives and minimize injuries through information, preplanning and interagency agreements that ensure a quick and effective response to crisis. NHREC's Multi-Hazard Crisis and Emergency Management Plan includes intervention, crisis response, critical incident procedures and monitors for total quality management. The plan exceeds the standards established by state law and is reviewed annually.
