Touring around St. Petersburg.

Each May students are invited to present their research at a student research symposium, the Sakharov Readings, in St. Petersburg, Russia. Students spend about 8 days in St. Petersburg. For five days, students experience the culture, museums and sites around the city. The Sakharov Readings are held for the remaining days. The research symposium provides opportunities for students to interact with other participants from Russia and the surrounding countries, as well as some other American students. The exchange of science knowledge is at the center of the experience.
